Milk Paint

Milk Paint is a safe, eco-friendly, non-toxic paint made from natural materials and can be used on furniture, cabinets, toys, and other woodwork. Milk paint is great for achieving an authentic look reminiscent of a chippy, aged, or distressed piece of furniture.

Manufactured by The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Co (same formulation as Sweet Pickins Milk Paint). Our milk paint powder has been repackaged into white standup pouches that seal and are easy to store.

To start off, all you need to add is equal parts milk paint powder and warm water (1:1 ratio) and mix! To use as a stain or wash, just add more water. For porous or unfinished surfaces, no primer is needed. For non-porous or finished surfaces, add Extra Bond (a bonding agent sold separately) into the base layer to achieve better adhesion. Milk paint can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun. A topcoat is recommended for all surfaces.
